Whether it's pet hair, car interiors, or stairs, when the job is too tough for a broom but too small to haul out the huge vacuum cleaner, grab the Dirt Devil Ultra Power hand vac. With the power of an upright in a lightweight, compact design, the hand vac's 4 amp motor provides powerful suction, and its revolving brush aids deep carpet cleaning. For those tough-to-reach spots, such as under car seats or between couch cushions, the hand vac has a built-in stretch hose and a crevice tool (ready to use with Dirt Devil accessories). The two speeds allow you to vary your suction, but be aware that the lower speed is very gentle and the higher speed is loud. The 20-foot cord ensures a large cleaning radius, and a cord strap provides tidy storage. This hand vac is not recommended for vacuuming long strands of human hair--they tend to get caught in the revolving brush. Be sure you fill out and mail in the warranty card included in the package so you can take advantage of Dirt Devil's two-year limited warranty. Dirt Devil Can Vac

This is a must have vacuum for everyone. It was perfect 20 years ago, and it's great now. This vac is small and quick enough to replace brooms, stickvacs, handvacs, and especially those stupid chinsy shark sweepers. Easier to dust with than a Dyson too. Also leave it to Dyson to think he invented the extra long reach hose! I think Dyson likes to sue companies because he is insecure about his plastic product that is not the best, yet his little British head would like to think so.(No I am not dissing Dyson vac lovers or British people:)) But this description should be about the wonderful Can Vac. This vac is a perfect example of a quality made product: No vac today (this size) would have a 25' cord, nor would it have a good 7' hose, and it wouldn't come with a powerful 9amp motor. It also took me a very long time to realize the exhaust is a blower port too. As always, it can show vac companies are always in competition. Hoover had the portapower, DD had the can vac, and Eureka had the mighty might. All of them aiming to see who could sell more of their compact canisters. But it can't be disputed that Hoover was 1st with the portapower, and everyone followed later(from 3:03) While we were doing a deep cleaning of our basement, I found a bag with some vacuum attachments in it; low and behold, there was the upolstry brush that I had been looking for for 10 years.
